The FabFilm Co offers a unique film screening resource that recreates an authentic cinema atmosphere and is a mobile animation or subject based filmmaking facility supplying all equipment and resources.
FILM SCREENINGS
Film brings to life, makes interesting, and enhances access to a wide range
of subjects in a medium that is understood and accessible for all ages.
It's an effective tool to stimulate debate on citizenship and PHSE subjects. Foreign language films provide a great stimulus for those studying modern languages while documentaries provide a way-in to historical and cultural issues.
Aside from screenings having a learning outcome, they can be useful for
- reward or celebration
- displaying films made by pupils
- social events

FILM MAKING
Providing filmmaking projects and workshops that develop a child's creative, technical and critical skills.
Animation
1. Stop Motion Animation Workshops - delivered by professionals.

We provide a bespoke service depending on your requirements, budget considerations, time available etc.
Stop Motion Animation is an excellent way to have fun in the classroom. However, it also engages and inspires pupils because it is a very ‘hands-on’ use of multimedia. It’s a fantastic way to present information to students who are more and more digitally literate and develops lots of other skills such as literacy, exploration, confidence, team-work. It can lend itself to cross-curricular classroom activity and can challenge and encourage the creative talents of students of all ages. We provide all equipment and materials. Please contact to discuss fee which is based on half-day or day rate basis.
2. Subject based or documentary style workshops - delivered by professionals Age-range: Any Subjects include all PHSE subjects.
Please contact us to discuss your needs as we provide a bespoke service depending on your requirements, budget considerations, time available etc. Technique: Group improvisation work, Camera skills, Storyboarding, Rehearsals, Shoot!, Time dependent editing.
We use: Good quality mini dv camcorders, external mic's, mic stands & tripods. DVD's of films supplied.
Screenings arranged as requested or required.
